LSEConfig has an About Box, which shows the version of Link Shellextension.

Replace Symbolic Link failed when not elevated.

Replace Symbolic Link always created absolute symbolic links regardless of the settings when not elevated.

Drop Symbolic Link sometimes did not create absolute links when needed in certain situations.

The installer now shows the language of the installed OS as default.

Overlay Icons for symbolic links under Window XP are available now.

Fixed a few bugs related to WindowsXP and symbolic links handling.

When working on mapped network drives via SMB or CFIS, as many NAS boxes do, LSE uses a more traditional enumeration mode and this will copy files ( which it did not in any case ).

Multiple locations can be selected and the location are treated as a common root with respect to hardlinks/junctions/symbolic links.

Nested junctions and symbolic links ( aka junctions on junction on junctions ... ) are now properly restored in any situation.

Smartmove had problems with relative symbolic links in rare situations.

Italian translation updated.

Support for symbolic links under WXP.

Can handle subst.exe created driveletters.

Introduced a traditional mode for SmartCopy, DeloreanCopy and SmartClone when used on network shared implementing SMBV10 (NAS boxes).

During SmartCopy, DeloreanCopy and SmartClone nested junctions/symbolic link directories were not processed correctly if alphabetical order was bad.

During SmartCopy, DeloreanCopy and SmartClone dangling junctions or symlinks will be at least in the same way dangling restored.

Multiple source locations can be specified with SmartCopy, DeloreanCopy and SmartClone.

SmartRename was introduced.

SmartCopy, SmartMirror and DeloreanCopy accept FAT drives as source directory.

What's new? DeLorean Copy is available in LSE and ln.exe.
What is this? DeLorean Copy is a incremental way of creating backups using hardlinks very similar to Apples TimeMachine(tm). Read the LSE .html doku, you will find out.
The LSE beta phase lasts till November 14th 2010, so please provide me with feedback if possible.

LSE now by default creates relative target path names when creating symbolic links.
Symbolic Links now have an overlay icon.
Added a configuration tool for LSE options
Added a priority level for the indidual overlay icons.
Added an option to switch of overlay icons totally for each type of overlay.
The Pick Link Source context menue now also shows up on FAT drives, if the item potentially is the source for a LSE operation.
Overlay icons can be disabled.
Documented how the install directory can specified when using silent (un)install.
The menu hydraulics have been reworked, so that it is decided early to only show menue for chioces, which are really possible.
LSE and symlink are now linked with ASLR.

Fixed a little but crucial flaw in the installer which prevented Smart Move to work on Vista & Windows 7.
Hardlink Clone now restores the attributes of cloned folders.
Smart Move had a crucial flaw, when just one letter of a folder changed in case.
Smart Move was not enabled under Windows 7 during installation.

Picking a whole drive as source for Smartcopy ended in a weird error message when droping.
Drives without name created meaningless directory names after droping as junction/mountpoint/smartcopy like ' (F)' instead of 'Drive (F)'.
Files in the root directory of a drive, when selected for smartcopy, were not processed during smartcopy.

The properties dialog of an item offers an 'Explore Target' button for Junctions, Mountpoints and Symbolic Links.
